Because beneath all the spazzing and all the crazy for my boys, I still have much to me. This little closet is where I keep parts of me that may or may not be related to my 5 boys.
Clothes, travel, little rainbows, sunshine and all those things that make me smile :)
No one's really sure what this blog is about, but read? --> Me, the blog and why.
Musings. Clothes. Korean Boys. The lovely lilmisskiddo who takes pretty shots of me. Ask. Fangirling.
I got Fantastic Baby nails because I lolololoved the MV.
I just wanted to share this nice accessory I got from Park Yoochun’s Time Out Gelato. Yoochun’s shop would sell some fandom goods, I was lucky enough to get a key chain this year. Last time I got a photobook. ><
Anyway, the accessory is a pretty little keychain…very unsuspecting of being a fangirl item, but what’s really nice about it is that it’s actually a locket with Yoochun’s wonderful face inside. ^^ Guh. Can you imagine being on a train or something and sneaking a peak in the locket to see Yoochun’s handsome face? Hahaha!
Unfortunately, I can’t remember exactly how much I paid for it but it’s about 23,000-30,000 KRW.
Ahh. Heaven’s Postman. I loved it not because it had Kim Jaejoong in it.
Ok. 60% because it had Kim Jaejoong in it. But the movie was also lovely in its own right. At first I’d probably consider it one of those things I would watch just because my idol was in it, but after watching I realized I would’ve totally seen it even if Jaejoong wasn’t there.
The movie would give you a sense similar to watching an old videocassette in some barn with cute fluffy stuffed toys, during a sunset (Lol).
I remember sitting in front of my laptop smiling at the heartiness of the story, and, moments after, crying my heart out because of the same reason.
Anyway, rambling alert.
Aside from the touching story in the movie, I thought the cinematography was good. My little, scene appreciative self also loved some of the scenic shots in the movie.
No. Okay, not that…but hnnngggg.sorjhaopeb. Anyhoo. I’m talking about these:
I guess, I got pretty much inspired with the movie. WHICH BRINGS ME, to this set of clothes:
cr: @screamquennie for taking the photos.
The colors were from the green/earthy scenes from the movie and the general style matched that of the clothes Han Hyojoo’s character wore. Hee~ I wanted to live in the movie’s universe. It was so pretty.
And yea, this is an old look. I think I wore these clothes last year, it’s just that, it’s only now that I get to blog about it. OTL
—> PS: All the photos I used here a post processed by me.
The boys, they’ll probably be my inspiration forever.
And maybe I can’t afford them to be my inspiration all the time but most of the time, I take my ideas from them, subtly, if i must.
Anyway, I had a project for last semester, and I just thought I ought to share it.
We were supposed to make a collection inspired from a historical period and I decided I wanted to well…design for the boys.
I was really inspired by the Baroque period. I’ve always been fascinated by it. So for my concept, I wanted to translate this stage:
Into this stage:
I wanted to translate the feeling of getting to watch an opera show as one of the royals to Cassies when they watch the concert. I decided, I wanted the boys to look like princes.
Anyway, I wouldn’t go over much of this
unless you want me to else it will end up sounding like my project defense. But I just wanted to show you guys a few of my inspiration when I made the clothes~
I actually got a lot of ideas by looking through XIAAAHHH’s Musical Mozart costumes.
And of course, a lot of historical clothing pieces~
Then I had to think of how I could fit all those with the boys~
…in the process I’ve gone through several lapses of doing this:
I finally got through my designs. :3
Yoochun (his is my favorite by the way):
And even the back up dancers (I had to think realistically okay? They’re still part of the performance too you know. :3…Plus the project required 6 ensembles. :p)
Haha~ well, that was kind of it. :)
I guess, I’m really lucky I get to do things that I love the most. And I’ve found a productive outlet for my love for the boys. I guess I’ve figured fangirling doesn’t just have to be limited to buying their CDs or drooling over them.
Make something out of fangirling. Make them your inspiration and not your distraction. :)
